i was looking at that too, i think i'm going to try and wait until around may though, thats when canon has their rebate program. either that or i'm going to see if i can find one used for under 1000...

waiting really always is best. window shop EVERYTHING, even the stuff you wouldnt think you'd want. its what i do, and i try to read whatever i can about what i think i want, how it relates to what i have, whats comparable and what other options there are to do the same thing, or more. thats kinda how i roll, to make the best informed decision possible.

and theres always ebay and second hand. ussually just as good for a lot less
