:-) they tend to lose their appeal after a while but every now and then i break it out... the lens i have is a tokina 10-17mm 'zoom' fisheye so at 17mm its not so fisheye-y... makes it a bit more useful than a standard fisheye...

I actually think you've got something here that would never have happened with the wide angle - the trees look like they're going to stalk the streets of New York when the lights go out. :fear:

That is the lens my ex stole from me. I got judgment in my favor but I know hes not going to willing pay me so I will probably have to get his paycheck garnished which is going to take forever and a day because they only do like 1% of his earnings...

But yeah, i wouldn't have been able to get this with the wide angle, lol, i love how the trees look like they are about to me from the perspective.

:). I like confining myself to one lens sometimes and seeing how far I can push the photos I take with it. I'd be interested to see what you come up with using the fish-eye.

I hope you get a new lens soon.
